Treasurer Jack Mackay, in his first year of doing the books, reported a balance of
$232.63. (The balance 12 months previously had been $215). The Treasurer
recommended an increase in the Annual Subscriptions of $2 – up to $14. (See Chapter 8
to see what the members thought of his recommendation!)
President Bert Walker did have a very successful year. As he said: “I had a ball.”
