to Harry Brennan was followed by a luncheon in the dining room attended by 33

Meeting with a luncheon was an excellent one
Jack Coffey’s letter about the year’s highlights said that his number one feature

was the 10 annual general meeting When Harry gave his reply – the annual general
meeting was also his main highlight. To quote inter alia from his letter:

“This was the only year in the history of the Probus Club of Lilydale that the

to the day being quite memorable, with all past Presidents being in attendance. All
in all – a most memorable year.”

Harry also highlighted the move from the “drab atmosphere of the Lilydale Senior
Citizens club rooms to the Atheneum Theatre, Lilydale, much to the pleasure and
                   enjoyment of the members.”
At the September meeting, it was moved by George Sank, seconded by Bert
Walker, that the club donate $110 in advance to the Atheneum Theatre Trust every six
